V2 or V2Pro — which do I have?
Two quick looks tell you — and don't go by the “V2” badge, because every unit has it. This guide covers the Club Booster V2Pro.
Look at the two arms near the small ground rollers at each end of the drive unit. Is there white printing on them?
Printed “V2PRO” (left) and “SPDLOC” (right)
You have the Speedlock system = V2Pro. Go to step 2 to find your exact version.
Plain, with no printing
You have a base V2 — you also tighten a hand cam lever and your push cart keeps bolted brackets. Use the Club Booster V2 guide instead.
A base V2 also has wheelie bars — they're just unlabeled. Decide on the printing, not on whether arms are present.
Only if you saw “V2PRO” / “SPDLOC”: look at the two clamps gripping the axle, plus the console sticker.
Light-gray clamps + a green “CORRECT SIDE TO FACE USER” sticker + one adjustable stopper plate
Factory V2Pro (A11). You're on the right guide.
Black clamps marked “L” / “R” + four separate stopper plates
You added the older Speedlock Upgrade Kit to a V2. Follow the Speedlock upgrade-kit steps on the V2 guide. For replacement parts (battery, brackets) you're still on the V2 line.
| Look at | Base V2 | V2Pro (Speedlock) |
|---|---|---|
| Wheelie-bar arms | Plain, unlabeled | Printed “V2PRO” / “SPDLOC” |
| Locks onto the cart | Tighten a hand cam lever | Pivot the arms — no tools |
| Brackets on your cart | Bolted on, stay behind | None — clamps lift off with the unit |
| Stopper plate | None | Yes |
| Course setup | Slower, every round | About a minute: place, pivot, go |

What's in the Box
Your Club Booster V2Pro (A11) ships pre-assembled with the Speedlock System and the A11 universal stopper plate.
Know Your Orientation
Pivot the wheelie bars outward only from the green-sticker side.
Battery Charging
The recess on the plug lines up with the stud on the port.
Battery care

Protect the inlet
Always replace the charger inlet cap after charging to protect the battery inlet from corrosion or damage.

A11 Stopper Plate Adjustment
The V2Pro (A11) uses one universal stopper plate with adjustable hole positions, replacing the previous 4-plate system. The stopper plate sets the correct tube length for your push cart model. Most units ship at hole #3.
| Hole | Suitable push carts |
|---|---|
| #1 | Sun Mountain Micro Cart, Bagboy Quad, Axglo, Bigmax Cube |
| #2 | Sun Mountain Speed Cart, Fastfold, some Caddytek |
| #3 | Clicgear M8, Omni Cart, some Caddytek (default on most units) |
| #4 | Clicgear M1-4, Rovic RV1S, Caddylite EZ, some Caddytek |
The standard stopper plate position (hole #3) on the extension tube.
How to Adjust the Hole Position
If your push cart is not listed above, or the default position does not fit:
Remote Control Operations
| Function | Operation |
|---|---|
| Speed control | Press "Go/Speed Up" to move forward. 6 speeds available; defaults to Speed 1 after each stop. Cycle speeds with the Up/Down buttons. |
| Stop | Press "Stop" for a gradual stop. |
| Reverse / slow down | Press and hold "Reverse/Slow Down" while stationary to reverse. Release to gradually stop. |
| Left / right turn | Press and hold the "Left" or "Right" button. Slow to Speed 1 or 2 for fixed-front-wheel carts. |
| 15 / 30-yard presets | Press a preset button and the cart travels the set distance. You can steer while in preset mode. |
| Free-wheel mode | Hold "Stop" for 3 seconds; a red light flashes on the face panel. Press any button to exit. |
| Gyro on/off | Press "Gyro" to deactivate (yellow light off). Turn the gyro off when power-assisting or steering the unit by hand, which requires some force. |
| Keypad lock | Press "Keypad Lock" to lock the buttons (red light flashes on the remote). Press Lock plus any button within 3 seconds to exit. |
Remote buttons: Go/Speed Up, Stop, Reverse/Slow Down, Left, Right, 15/30-yard presets, Gyro, Keypad Lock. Micro-USB charging inlet on the side.
Charging the remote
Plug the included micro-USB cable into the remote and any USB charging inlet. Green light = charging; the light goes out when full. Charge about once every 2 rounds.
Pairing the remote
The remote is factory-paired. If pairing is lost: turn off the Club Booster, press and hold "Stop" + "30-Yard" until the red corner light flashes, then turn the Club Booster on within 3 seconds. The red light stops flashing once paired.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Stopper plate doesn't fit | Wrong hole position for your cart model | Adjust the stopper plate hole position (see Stopper Plate). |
| Clamps won't lock | Opened from the wrong side, or console orientation is wrong | Always pivot from the green-sticker side and verify the console handle faces the front. If the problem persists, remove the M10 nut under the wheelie tube and check whether the stud hole is deformed (the original stud hole has two flat metal liners). If deformed, replace the wheelie tube on the correct side (SPDLOC or V2PRO). |
| System rattles during use | Loose stopper plate screws, or clamps not fully locked | Retighten the stopper plate screws and make sure the clamps click into place. |
| Remote not responding | Lost pairing, or the remote needs charging | Re-pair the remote (see Remote) and charge it. |
Maintenance
Monthly
Inspect all screws for looseness, especially the stopper plate screws and clamp screws.
After impacts
Verify the stopper plate alignment and clamp tightness.
Battery
Remove from the unit for extended storage and charge fully once a month.
Before each round
Check stability on flat ground. If parts don't fit easily, double-check the orientation and the stopper plate position.
